Thumbs up

BVILLBA President, Al Frett had been very impressed with the way the youngsters had grown into the tournament and was full of confidence for the sport going forward.

“We saw a marked improvement from day one of this tournament right up until this final, which could have been won by either team. The two teams deserved to be in the final as they were the more consistent over the League and showed the higher levels of competitiveness.”

Overall, Mr Frett is now looking at how to schedule the next League to involve more schools.

The Little League Baseball Association will be holding a Summer Camp to further improve the skills of the players and then will be holding a League in September 2017.
