If he applied he must have had that already worked out. Many doctors offices run with the other associates.

Look at why she was fired. It had nothing to do with performance.

She was fired for " not issuing suspension letters to medical professionals under investigation in the death of a young mother", that speaks to performance.

Unless it is checked out, they could say anything. This happen to someone before and when the person was not performing in the job place the employer checked and found out the person never one day attended the school they claimed they got the degree from.

      The BVIHSA needs new blood.

Seriously, I believe the BVI should locate the best quality LOCAL to do this job, Don't tell me there aren't none available. However be it that a decision is already made you must have a LOCAL to understudy this Expert and the position should become available to a BVIslander within two years. That's my point.

I don't give two Sh**T who they put in there as CEO. All I know is they better make sure that new CEO has balls for whats coming their way. Lets see if she buckles under needed pressure. That hospital is a death trap, was a death trap and will always be a death trap.

    it initially.

"They have recommended someone to me, I questioned them because I believe that BVIslanders should be given as Ms (Eileene) Parsons would say 'give them an opportunity to make a fool of themselves in their own country'. So I questioned, but there was no other way to go but this way, for now," he said.

According to the good minister we a bunch of jack
a$$e$ eho will make a fool of ourselves in that posiyion. How insulting. And they spend miliions educating us inly to insult us when it matters. I guess Cumberbatch mading a fool of herself in her home country qualifies her to make an a$$ of herself in ours. Shaking my head. The NDP is rude and disrespectful and we need to show them how foolish we really are in the next election. All their actions tell us that they know for sure we are fool, so let's prove them right 100% in 2018.

There are a set of factors that could have driven the Board to go outside: a CEO position is administrative in nature and not technical; Dr. Georges would have acted before and they would be aware of his capabilities;Dr. Georges may not have administrative qualifications, given what is reported on the papers; the Board is interested in ensuring that the New Hospital attains accreditation; and due to globalization, and the Boomer Generation becoming of age, there is need for accreditation of the hospital. This list is not exhaustive. I believe that the senior members of management within the Authority, should take the opportunity to learn the rolling out of this initiative. At the end of it all, not only Ms. Cumberbatch would enjoy a successful outcome, but also her Executive Team, the Board and the customers that access the services at the Hospital. Let us look at the composition of the Board, I believe that the outcome was objective and in the interest all stakeholders.
