Firearm & ammo recovered during police search

Search warrants carried out early this morning, October 9, 2915 by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department, the Special Investigations Team and Tactical Unit on a number of residents resulted in the arrest of a number of persons and the recovery of a prohibited weapon and a large quantity of ammunition. ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Search warrants carried out early this morning, October 9, 2915 by officers of the Criminal Investigations Department, the Special Investigations Team and Tactical Unit on a number of residents resulted in the arrest of a number of persons and the recovery of a prohibited weapon and a large quantity of ammunition.

The persons arrested are presently assisting Police with their investigation into the recovered firearm.
