Anegadians peeved as airport closed due to fire truck taken to VG airport

THE SETTLEMENT, Anegada, VI- Residents of Anegada have expressed disappointment at the closure of the Auguste George Airport, which is reportedly due to the fire tender being removed from that island and taken to Taddy Bay Airport on Virgin Gorda, since the fire tender there has developed some issues.

TADDY BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) announced on April 20, 2018, that the Taddy Bay Airport on Virgin Gorda will be temporarily closed on Saturday, April 21, 2018, due to the airports’ fire truck experiencing operational complications that developed following hurricane Irma.

UPDATE: Family seeks closure in West End accident death

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Accident victim Bernardino Richardson, 51, of the Dominican Republic is expected to be laid to rest next Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Richardson died in a horrific smash-up on December 11, 2012 at West End.
