Over 1000 kilos of cocaine worth $23M seized from vessel South of Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- Two people from the Dominican Republic and one from Venezuela were arrested at the beginning of the week, when US Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations agents intercepted a vessel south of Caja de Muerto, an island 8 miles off Puerto Rico’s south coast.

292 lbs of cocaine inside vessel leaving USVI towards Puerto Rico

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI- US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Air and Marine Operations (AMO) agents, along with agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), seized 292 pounds (132 kilos) of cocaine concealed inside two hidden compartments in a vessel intercepted leaving from St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI), towards Puerto Rico on Saturday January 27, 2018.

Men held on boat with cocaine plead not guilty
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Nigel Registe, a native of Dominica residing in St. Thomas and Kevin Greaves of St. Thomas, who were onboard a 18-foot go-fast boat when it was intercepted by police on the northern side of Tortola on October 25, 2012 have pleaded not guilty to the charge of unlawful possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
