‘Stay out of seaweed-infested water!’ – Dr Cassander Titley-O’Neal PhD
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – In the wake of fish kills and complaints of discoloured water from the taps, local environmentalist Dr Cassander Titley-O’Neal PhD is warning persons to stay away from the water in places invaded by sargassum seaweed because of the possible negative impacts on human health, including the potential to be fatal in strong enough doses.

Cruise pier study finds suspected ‘dead reef’ very much alive
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Cruise Pier Development project has found that what was initially suspected to be a ‘dead reef’ is very much alive. These were among some of the many disclosures made yesterday, August 22, 2013 by Executive Director of Environmental Systems BVI, Dr Cassander Titley-O’Neal whose company was contracted to conduct the study.
