CCT cautions TRC on allocating more spectrum until court matter is over

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- While assuring customers already using its LTE services that it will continue to do so uninterrupted since there were fears that they would lose it with the recent court ruling that overturned a stay on the 2015 Spectrum Award Process, CCT Global Communications says it trusts also that the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) will not go ahead with allocating any additional spectrum to other carriers until its Judicial Review matter is heard.

VI may benefit from LTE spectrum until next year

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – CEO of the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) Guy L. Malone said operators will need about six months from the time they receive their licence to deliver LTE services to customers but there needs to be consultation with industry players to determine when those services can be delivered.
