ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The BVI Swimming Federation has had a record 10 athletes competing in the 24th Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Swimming Championships that opened in St. Lucia on Friday and ends today, Sunday 9 November, 2014.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- A team of eight swimmers, including sisters Amarah and Elinah Phillip, are representing the [British] Virgin Islands at the 23rd edition of the OECS Swimming Championships in Lucia.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands could make more swimming history next year if the Olympic size pool in Virgin Gorda is completed as the Territory could host the OECS Swimming Championships for the first time ever.
Elinah Phillips sets new OECS record at championships!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Elinah Phillips beat the time set by Tuesday Watts in 2002 in winning the Gold Medal in the 9-10 yr old Girls 50m Free style Event at the 21st OECS Swimming Championships which was held in St Lucia from November 4 - 6, 2011.
