ST THOMAS, USVI — Federal Bureau of Investigation detectives along with V.I.P.D. officers descended on the entrance of the Cyril E. King Airport this morning, after it was discovered that the USA, US Virgin Islands (USVI) and nine other flags that normally hang high on a welcome monument at the beginning of the road heading to the airport, were replaced with black flags bearing the name “Allah” on them.

ROAD TOWN,Tortola, VI – Flags were today, September 17, 2012 hoisted at the Althea Scatliffe and Ebenezer Thomas Primary schools in keeping with an initiative announced previously by Minister for Education and Culture, Hon. Myron V Walwyn. The Territorial song was also sung after the singing of the National Anthem.
Non-national flags raise concerns at VI Festival celebrations!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – When concerns were raised with booth and bar owners operating at the festival village in Road Town who are not nationals of the Virgin Islands (VI) about their bars only representing their homeland and not the VI, they replied that their intentions were not to hurt the feelings of others or bring shame to the VI Culture.
