2 yrs jail; $12K fine for smuggler Tambu Frett
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- 34-year-old human smuggler Tambu Frett of Little Dix Hill, Tortola, finally learnt his fate today, May 22, 2020, on the charges of Smuggling, Illegal Entry and Breach of Curfew, which he had all pleaded guilty to in the Magistrate’s Court since April 6, 2020.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The sentencing for Tambu Frett, 37, of Little Dix Hill, East End, Tortola, was again postponed after the Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs Tiffany R. Scatliffe-Esprit indicated that investigations by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) have revealed he may be part of a smuggling operative.
