UNDP presents VI COVID-19 response as model for Eastern Caribbean
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The [British] Virgin Islands’ response to COVID-19 has been presented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a model for the Eastern Caribbean at the UN development agency’s official presentation of its joint reports with ISGlobal entitled, ‘COVID-19 Policy Reports for Recovery in the Eastern Caribbean: Analysis, Scenarios and Considerations for Opening to Tourism,’ launched at a virtual meeting on March 30, 2021.

Puerto Rico declares curfew & closure of non-essential businesses

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- Puerto Rico Governor Wanda Vázquez Garced during a national address on Sunday, March 15, 2020, declared a curfew through March 30, 2020 that calls for non-essential businesses to be closed and residents off the streets by 9:00 pm every night until 5:00 am the following day.
