Residents told to desist from burning garbage

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Since the Virgin Islands proceeded on complete lockdown on March 27, 2020, where persons have been restricted from even going to the garbage dumpsters in their communities, some persons have resorted to the inconsiderate and dangerous practice of burning their waste in their yards.

Finally! Pockwood Pond Incinerator up & running

POCKWOOD POND, Tortola, VI – Following statements from Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) that the garbage and fire woes at the Pockwood pond facility in the Virgin Islands (VI) will soon be over, Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL), has indicated that the facility is now up and running at its optimum.
