Bregado Flax & St. Georges named champs in Inter-School Chess Tournament
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Bregado Flax Educational Centre - Secondary Division Senior Team and the St. Georges Secondary School Junior Team have been declared winners of the 2023 Inter-Secondary School Chess Tournament.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports’ Inter-Secondary School Chess Tournament will see seven schools in the Territory vying for the title of Chess Champion from December 12 to 13, 2023.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Virgin Islands Education System is moving ‘Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead’ according to subject Minister for Minister for Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports, Hon Sharie B. de Castro (Al) with introducing chess into the school curriculum as a fun way to teach logic and memory.
