Calming device just needed to be completed – Hon. Fraser
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The calming device at Beef Island, which is expected to be removed, "just needs to be completed by placing proper road markings, signs, and the Traffic Lanes around it reconstructed for proper maneuverability", stated former Communications and Works Minister Hon. Julian Fraser RA.
UPDATE - Calming device to be replaced with "raised crosswalks"
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Minister for Communications and Works Hon. Mark Vanterpool has confirmed that the calming device at Beef Island will be replaced with "raised crosswalks" at strategic locations with demolition on the device set to begin on Monday March 26, 2012.
