COX HEATH, Tortola, VI- It was on May 9, 2018, almost two weeks ago, that a fire erupted at a makeshift dumpsite in Cox Heath, on the western side of Tortola.

UPDATE: Cox Heath fire flames contained, smoke continues

COX HEATH, Tortola, VI - Teams of local water trucks, and a fire tender from as far as the Terence B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, along with help from the Public Works Department and the Ministry of Communications and Works were on site to help contain the wildfire that erupted last evening May 9, 2018, at the Cox Heath dump site on Tortola.

Hurricane debris will be shipped out the Territory- Hon Skelton

CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- The issue of the tonnes of debris piling up in the Territory was addressed when Minister of Health and Social Development, Hon Ronnie W. Skelton (AL), made his remarks at the Second District consultation meeting on the Recovery and Development Plan, on the evening of Tuesday February 6, 2018 at the Cane Garden Bay Methodist Church.
