CBP seizes counterfeit luxury goods valued over $1.2M in San Juan

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- The US Customs and Border Protection officers in the San Juan Field Office have successfully intercepted and seized three shipments containing counterfeit luxury brand merchandise. The seized items, which included jewelry and sunglasses, have a combined manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of over $1.2 million, had they been genuine.

US officials seize $2M thrown in waters off Puerto Rico

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico- US Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine Operations (AMO) Marine Interdiction Agents on Monday, June 15, 2020, seized more than $2 million in undeclared currency found in bags believed to be dumped from a vessel travelling near Vieques, Puerto Rico following a boat chase.
