Territory gets progress update on enVIsion 2040 project
A series of public consultative meetings aimed at providing a progress update on the enVIsion 2040 physical development project will begin today, October 31 according to a press release from the Government Information Agency dated October 31, 2018.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Speaking at a town hall meeting on Wednesday July 12, 2017, on the ‘EnVIsion 2040’ project, Mr Gregory W. Adams, Chief Planner of the Town and Country Planning disclosed that his department inspects building plans in a ‘microscopic’ way because his team does not have a ‘strong basis’ on which they determine if a proposed development is appropriate for a particular area in the Virgin Islands (VI).
Political will needed to address parking issues- Diane L. Drayton
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Public Relations Officer of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), Diane L. Drayton has questioned whether the community leaders in the territory have the political will to address the issue of vehicles being parked along the roadways in some communities overnight instead of using their private premises.
