Plaskett secures over $10M for USVI community projects in federal bill

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI - The passage of the Consolidated Appropriations Act 2024 by the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this week was a moment of triumph for Congressional Delegate Stacey Plaskett, who reported that twelve of her office’s Community Project Funding Requests were included in the measure.
BVIBF leads initiative to spruce up Nurse Iris Penn-Smith Clinic in EE
EAST END, Tortola, VI- Under the slogan ‘It only takes one to make a difference’, the BVI Basketball Federation (BVIBF) started an initiative yesterday, December 14, 2019 to repaint the Nurse Iris Penn-Smith Clinic in Parham Town on the eastern end of Tortola and clean up its surroundings in time for Christmas.
Rotary Club of RT & Flow help ESHS students build & paint benches
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- This past weekend, the Rotary Club of Road Town and Flow joined forces with the assistance of students of the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) to build and paint 10 lunch benches for students.
