Well balanced line-up of artistes for 65th Emancipation Festival
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- ABM, Contra Band, Xtreme, Showtime Band, OMG, Vibe, Joyce Searles aka ‘Sistah Joyce’, Kissinger Mercer, Jason A. Frett aka ‘Ritical’ are just a few of the local acts expected to blaze the stage, along with a well thought out list of international artistes, for the 65th Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival this year.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Before last night, June 17, 2017 members of her audience were usually familiar faces- members of her church congregation- and so she was out of her comfort zone; however, Third District resident Shauna-Kay Miller handled herself magnificently on stage in front of a huge crowd at the Sir Rupert Briercliffe Hall in Road Town to win the 2017 Gen-Y Factor: District Edition.
Festival 2015 performers will be paid, 'trust me’ – Premier Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Premier and Minister of Finance Dr The Honourable D. Orlando Smith on Thursday January 21, 2016 acknowledged that Government should have paid local performers of Emancipation Festival 2015 before the end of last year.
