ROAD TOWN, Tortola VI – Following the flash flood on Monday August 7, 2017 into Tuesday August 8, 2017, that caused severe losses and damages throughout the Road Town area on the main island of Tortola, businesses are counting their losses and having insurance assessments carried out to file claims.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Department for Disaster Management has issued a flash flood warning for low-lying and flood prone areas in the Virgin Islands following prolonged rain which has led to some flooding and disruptions.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI -Synopsis: A trough of low pressure over the Caribbean Sea will slowly move eastward during the next few days. As it does so unstable atmospheric conditions will remain over the northeast Caribbean.
