VI looking to identify & revive old water sources – Perline R. Scatliffe-Leonard
BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI - Director of the Water and Sewerage Department in the Virgin Islands (VI), Mrs Perline R. Scatliffe-Leonard has said that efforts must be made to identify, and in some cases revive water sources to include wells, catchments and natural areas such as ponds to mitigate the impact of Climate Change.
UPDATE: Major water leak @ Pasea located & repaired- Hon Rymer
DUFF’S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities, Hon Kye M. Rymer (R5) has indicated that the source of the water leakage at Pasea, which disrupted service in the Road Town area, has been located and fixed.
Water & Sewerage Building to be complete before Hurricane Season

TS Harvey poses no threat to territory
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - According to the Department of Disaster Management (DDM), Tropical Storm Harvey will affect other Caribbean countries, however, the Virgin Islands can breathe a sigh of relief as Tropical Storm Harvey will pass to the south of the territory during the next 24 hours.
