Gumbs twins end Jr College career with All America honours
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Twin sisters and Central Arizona College sophomores Tynelle and Trevia Gumbs, ended their Jr College career by grabbing All America honours during the National Jr Colleges Athletics Association Championships in Levelland, Texas.
Five VI athletes to compete in JUCO Indoor Nationals
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Five Virgin Islands track and field athletes, who are ranked in the top 10 of their respective events and representing two institutions, will compete in the National Jr Colleges Athletics Association Championships in Winston-Salem, NC, March 4-5, 2016.
VI's Eldred Henry adds new NJCAA titles to resume
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Central Arizona College sophomore and Virgin Islander, Eldred Henry not only repeated as National Jr Colleges Athletics Association Championships' Discus champion, but added the Shot Put crown as well, while Trevia Gumbs claimed Shot Put silverware, during the competition held in Hutchinson, Kansas at the weekend.
