CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI – Mr William Industrious, one of the oldest persons in the Territory, died on Saturday September 6, 2014 taking with him a huge chunk of the Territory’s untold stories as it is believed that he possessed deep historical knowledge of the beginnings of the Virgin Islands (VI).
VI Seniors to be honoured ahead of 25th Senior Citizens Month
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Social Development Department of the Virgin Islands has embarked on an initiative this year that recognises past as well as current professionals for their contribution to the Territory ahead of the 25th anniversary celebration of Senior Citizens Month in May, 2014.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - When an elderly person is admitted into a senior citizens centre their wellbeing is turned over to the staff of that home where they are responsible for providing love and care as well as assisting with their hygienic responsibilities.
