UPDATE: Airport re-opens following strike action by fire officers
TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI – Sources within the BVI Airports Authority (BVIAA) have confirmed that following some internal industrial action today, July 17, 2023, by firefighters attached to the airport, the T.B. Lettsome International Airport has been reopened.
Fire officers commended for extinguishing bush fire @ Meyers
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities Honourable Kye M. Rymer (R5) has commended Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. Mclean and his officers for extinguishing a bush fire that was threatening the residence of Mr and Mrs Simon Potter at Meyers Estate, Tortola.
