ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Virgin Islander Tammy Phillips and the No. 15 seeded University at Albany women’s basketball team scrapped and battled throughout Sunday’s NCAA Tournament First Round game, nearly battling back from a 22-point deficit, but ultimately losing 76-61 to No. 2 West Virginia Mountaineers.
