THOMAS, USVI - It had seemed like déjà vu all over again when St Thomas horse Bud White was looking like he had victory under his harness in the final leg of the Johnnie Walker Triple Crown Classic yesterday Sunday March 18, 2012, but East End Tap in the final few seconds denied him that win and in the process smashed a track record – 1:52.03.

Final Leg of Triple Crown set for Sunday March 18

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - All eyes will be on St. Thomas this Sunday March 18, 2012 for the final leg of the first ever Virgin Islands’ Triple Crown. The first leg was ran on January 15, 2012 at the Virgin Islands’ (Tortola) famous Ellis Thomas Downs and was won by St. Croix’s Slevin and the second leg ran on St. Croix’s Randall ‘Doc’ James Racetrack on February 19, 2012 and was won by new comer Bud White of St. Thomas.
