UPDATE: JvD accident victim identified as Samuel D. Ramtool aka ‘Ram’
GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- The 61-year-old Trinidad national who lost his life in a lone vehicle accident on the sister island of Jost van Dyke on February 7, 2018 has been identified as Samuel D. Ramtool aka ‘Ram’.
Transporting of remaining BVIEC generators on hold
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The transporting of the remaining two Wartsila generators for the BVI Electricity Corporation’s (BVIEC) Phase V Power Development Project will be delayed due to a mechanical problem with the transporting hauler.
Stalled aircraft forces temporary closure of VG airport
TADDY BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI – A Piper Navajo N83TA plane reportedly belonging to ‘Island Birds’ forced airport authorities to close the Virgin Gorda Airport sometime between 10 A.M. and 12 P.M. yesterday, December 1, 2013 after it developed technical problems that rendered it immobile on the runway for some time.
