Confusion: minimum wage still $4.00 in the VI; no laws to increase to $6.00

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Confusion and misinformation continue to circulate about the Virgin Islands minimum wage. As of today January 12, 2016 the minimum wage to be paid by law in the British Overseas Territory of the Virgin Islands (VI) remains at $4.00 an hour and not $6.00.
