CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- A Cancer survivor who now fights to promote cancer awareness as well as to assist persons diagnosed with the disease, Ms Gloria A. Fahie continues to be recognised for her efforts in the territory.
CIBC FirstCaribbean raises $20k for BVI Cancer Society
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - CIBC FirstCaribbean Bank wrapped up its 2018 activities in community service with the presentation of a cheque for $20,015.38 to the BVI Cancer Society according to a company release on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
CIBC FirstCaribbean “Walk for the Cure” 2018 set for Saturday
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – October 1st marks the beginning of breast cancer awareness month, with the CIBC FirstCaribbean annual Walk/Run for the Cure set to take place in the BVI on Saturday, October 6, 2018.
NLBC cancer survivors celebrated
In a touching service Sunday, Cancer survivors were celebrated as the New Life Baptist Church (NLBC) as the Church declared that the fight over Cancer will be won. The service themed “THINK PINK Sunday” sought to present the congregation an opportunity to meet persons within the congregation who were battling and winning against the deadly disease. Members of the congregation all wore shades of pink in a galvanized gesture to show their support.
