CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – As the Virgin Islands (VI) continues its celebration of Emancipation 2022 across the territory, the next stop is the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta which opens today, August 5, 2022, in Carrot Bay.

CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- From the donkey races to the tug-o-war between married men and single men, the day of cultural activities at the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta on August 9, 2019, was nothing short of fun and entertainment.
‘Give the donkeys a track’- Clarence ‘Boogie’ Freeman
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Commenting on the recent failed donkey races for the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta on August 7, 2015 Clarence ‘Boogie’ Freeman is of the view that there should be a special track for donkey races rather than have them run on hard surfaces that could damage their hooves.

CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI- It was not so much about the married women defeating the single women at tug-war or who won the donkey races but more about the tons of excitement and humour offered during the novelty events and the entertainment offered by the hilarious announcer Craig Lake aka DJ Push Pop who continuously tickled the crowd to delirium with his jokes during the Carrot Bay Cultural Fiesta at the Benito Potter Festiville on August 9, 2013.
