'Virgin Islands tax cooperation with France overlooked'- Premier Fahie
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Premier and Minister of Finance of the [British] Virgin Islands Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1) has said the good tax cooperation between the [British] Virgin Islands and France has been overlooked in the French Government's decision to include the jurisdiction, among others newly added, to its list of non-cooperative states and territories in tax matters.

BVI Signs TIEA With Canada

As evidence of its continued commitment to transparency in the financial services industry and its compliance with international standards, the British Virgin Islands executed a much anticipated Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) with Canada on May 21, 2013. The agreement is the 24th such agreement entered into by the British Virgin Islands Government.
