Antoinette Skelton & ‘Gumption’ among 5 named Paul Harris Fellows
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- In recognition of their sterling contributions to the Territory, five prominent persons in the Virgin Islands were conferred with Rotary’s Paul Harris Fellow Award when the Annual Rotary Foundation Dinner was held at Maria’s by the Sea on Saturday, November 5, 2022.
Fmr legislator Ralph T. O’Neal ‘taking it easy’ in retirement
WEST END, Tortola, VI – In giving very short remarks after receiving Rotary’s ‘Paul Harris Fellow’ award on Saturday June 20, 2015, the man who has given some 40 years of service to the territory in leadership positions in government, Ralph T. O’Neal OBE, has announced that he is “taking it easy” now that he has retired.
VI Rotary clubs among platinum awardees
PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI – The three rotary clubs of the Virgin Islands did the Territory proud as host of the historic Rotary District 7020 Conference as they all received platinum Governor’s Awards for excellence. “All three of the BVI clubs came away with platinum awards and that is excellent,” commented 7020 District Governor Mr Vance Lewis.
Meet Rotarian of the Week Violet Thomas-Gaul
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Violet Thomas-Gaul joined the Rotary Club of Tortola in 2003 but was a member of the Road Town Rotary Club prior to that where she held the position of Secretary.
