Has UK failed VI again? Confusion over 2nd dose of vaccine
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Since the Virgin Islands (VI) came out of Grant-in-Aid in 1978, the Territory has received little or nothing from the United Kingdom (UK). In fact, many have argued that the UK is now a financial liability to the small Overseas Territory (OT), which is why it has become critical for the VI to seek self-determination.
2016 Virgin Gorda Easter Festival in limbo!
VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Like most things following the 2015 general elections, another government sponsored event seems uncertain. According to our National Democratic Party (NDP) sources in the Virgin Gorda community, the 2016 Virgin Gorda Festival Committee has not received any money to kick start the 2016 activities.
