ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Milford Todman Jr., 20, who was charged with two commercial burglaries among other offences in August, was yesterday December 5, 2011 fined $500 and given a two-year suspended sentence that if violated, would be imprisoned for 8 months.

Ultimatum given to man accused of grabbing another's private parts

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Noting that the case is taking longer than is necessary to proceed and that the defence is to be blamed for the delay mostly because of the absence of legal counsel, Magistrate Tamia Richards yesterday November 24, 2011, ordered that Jerome Hopkins Sr., who is accused of indecent assault, get a lawyer within the next 10 minutes or she would have to proceed with him being unrepresented.
