ESHS Principal's vehicle vandalised!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A smashed rear window was what greeted Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) Acting Principal Wade W. Tobin when he returned to his vehicle which was parked behind the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex building in Road Town earlier today, December 10, 2013.

Students & parents fear retaliation from expelled ESHS students

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With seven students recently expelled from the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS), there have now been fears of angry retaliation by some of the expelled (one name called) as parents and students said there have been talks in circles about plots to get at some teachers and students.

ESHS teacher wants Reading returned as a separate subject in schools

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Issues of what were described as “perceived academic underachievement and discipline”, could be diminished with the re-introduction of Reading as a separate subject in schools. ESHS metal detector blues: security measure drags entry to a crawl

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Students and some educators alike were met with a very big surprise when they turned up for classes on January 21, 2013 at the Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) with the installation of a Rapiscan Systems/Metor 150 metal detector, which significantly delayed the entry process into the school’s compound.
