Violent weekend in St Thomas leaves 20-year-old woman dead

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — A series of violent incidents over the weekend has left the St Thomas community reeling, prompting a call for public assistance from law enforcement officials. In a tragic culmination of events, a 20-year-old woman was killed, and several others were injured in separate shootings, the [US] Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) has confirmed to the Consortium.
