ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The 2019 ‘Walk for the Cure’ saw the event raising some $39,200.00 and the funds have since been donated to the BVI Cancer Society and the BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA), putting them both in a stronger position to fight the disease that claimed the lives of 9.6 million persons worldwide in 2018 alone.
