ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- There was much opposition to the purchase of a hotel by Government and currently the State is struggling with the cost of its operations. It was purchased by the National Democratic Party (NDP) Administration in its first team in office, 2003-2007, claiming that it will be a place to promote good customer service in the hospitality sector.

Gumbs denies punching Police in the mouth
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Kyle Gumbs, 23, of Long Bush denied punching a Police officer in the mouth when he appeared before the Magistrate’s Court today, March 14, 2014. The charges stem from an altercation at Prospect Reef late last year.
UPDATE: McAlpine selected based on finances proposed-Premier Smith
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – “McAlpine hopes to expend up to one hundred million dollars in carrying out the development. The government is pleased that the selection is made and I am even more pleased to say that we are now in the process of finalizing the project development agreement,” announced Premier and Minister of Finance Dr. the Honourable D.
