ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - A tropical storm (TS) warning and hurricane watch have been issued for the Virgin Islands by the Antigua and Barbuda Meteorological Services, upgrading from the tropical storm watch issued earlier today October 12, 2014.

Cruise pier study finds suspected ‘dead reef’ very much alive

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the Cruise Pier Development project has found that what was initially suspected to be a ‘dead reef’ is very much alive. These were among some of the many disclosures made yesterday, August 22, 2013 by Executive Director of Environmental Systems BVI, Dr Cassander Titley-O’Neal whose company was contracted to conduct the study.

RFA Wave Knight To Visit British Virgin Islands

ROAD TOWN, Tortola,VI - The Naval Support Ship RFA WAVE KNIGHT will arrive in Road Town on the 5th March for the day, before proceeding to anchor to complete her three day visit during her deployment to the region on Atlantic Patrol Tasking North (APT(N)). This is a year round commitment to the region in support of Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief (HADR) and Counter Narcotics Operations.
