Mapp on Saturday, September 30, 2017 issued a statement on the devastation Hurricanes Irma and Maria wreaked upon the US Virgin Islands (USVI), his administration’s efforts — along with that of the Federal Emergency Management Agency — in responding to the storms, and his vision for a USVI that is more prepared to face the ever-growing threat of super storms.

Thanks to those who have helped in this time of need and let’s not be overly critical if we receive less than we were promised – That is the game of Politics and we do not know their most recent situation – Maybe they are worse off now or maybe they are Persons whom we discriminated against in the past… What is far more important is whether we help each other and thereby help ourselves.
