USVI turns to Bermuda for individual health insurance packages

FREDERIKSTED, St Croix, USVI— Lieutenant Governor of the US Virgin Islands Mr Osbert E. Potter, during a press conference on St Croix, US Virgin Islands on Monday October 3, 2016, said he would travel to Bermuda next week to meet with health insurance companies based on the island; a British territory, in hopes of convincing them to offer packages to residents in the US Virgin Islands.

Potter could receive their new limousines, worth $350,000 in total, after a Kurt Vialet amendment changed language in a bill intended to purchase emergency vehicles for first responder and law enforcement agencies of the US Virgin Islands (USVI) government.

Potter is advising the community that the U.S. Department of State will no longer add visa pages into U.S. passports beginning January 1, 2016, according to a press release issued on Wednesday December 23, 2015.
