Labour Commissioner Maynard still out!
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Her second vacation extension has ended on April 15, 2012, however, Labour Commissioner Oleanvine Maynard is still not back on the job at the Labour Department. Word just reaching Virgin Islands News Online is that the Commissioner reported to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour on Monday April 16, 2012 and met with the Permanent Secretary (PS) Mr. Ronald Smith-Berkeley.
Cleanup drive set for April 16-20 in observance of Earth Day
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Conservation and Fisheries Department has planned a week-long coastal cleanup along the coastlines of Baugher’s Bay, Brandywine Bay and Waterfront Drive on Tortola from April 16 - 20, 2012.
