More senior police officers needed at public events – residents
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - In the wake of the many fights and disorderly behaviour exhibited by some patrons at the recently concluded 2013 Virgin Islands Emancipation Festival activities, a call has been made for the presence of more senior officers at such public events.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – It was not exactly on the night of a full moon but whatever accounted for the many altercations that ensued at the Ira Oliver Skelton Festiville on July 30, 2013, the police are interested in hearing. The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has even stepped up its presence at the village and has announced a no-tolerance stance for the breach of the peace.
