CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — Cristian Lopez-Moncion, 35, of the Dominican Republic, pleaded guilty today in federal court on St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (USVI) to possession of a firearm by an illegal alien, Acting United States Attorney Joycelyn Hewlett announced.
DR man gets 41 months in USVI prison for drug crime

CHARLOTTE AMALIE, St Thomas, USVI — District Court Judge Curtis V. Gomez sentenced Estanislao De Jesus, 47, of the Dominican Republic, to 41 months’ imprisonment followed by four years of supervised release for possession with intent to distribute cocaine. Judge Gomez also ordered De Jesus to pay a $100 special assessment and perform 300 hours of community service.
