Hundreds bid farewell to Coach Xavier ‘Dag’ Samuels

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Laid to rest on Saturday October 21, 2017 at the Methodist Church in Sea Cows Bay, the commemoration of the life of Coach Xavier “Dag” Samuels had begun the previous night on the A.O. Shirley Ground in Road Town, Tortola with a Candlelight Vigil.

2014 VG B’ball League off due to incomplete facility!

VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI – The Virgin Gorda Basketball League which should have gotten started in August this year is left without a start date and it is unclear whether it would even happen this year as the facility where the games are scheduled to the played is still under construction and its completion date is unsure at this time.

Xmas Athletics Camp for East End from Dec. 16- Steve Augustine

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The BVI Athletics Association (BVIAA) and event organizers Steve Augustine and Delva Thomas have announced, as promised, the follow up to its inaugural Kiddies Athletics Camp held in Capoons Bay during the summer. The event will be a Christmas Camp at the Greenland Recreation Grounds from December 16 -21, 2013 for children aged 4 to 14.

Green light for Twilight Track Meet in 2014!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The North American, Central American and Caribbean Association (NACAC) has granted the Twilight Track Meet Organisers an area permit, effectively giving them the green light to plan the 2014 event, which is fast becoming a cornerstone of the Caribbean Athletics calendar.
