Olympic sailing hopefuls receive Solidarity Funding for 2016!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – The British Virgin Islands Olympic Committee (BVIOC) announced on Tuesday October 15, 2013 that Virgin Islands' 49er sailors Alec Anderson and Christopher Brockbank have been awarded an Olympic Scholarship as they prepare for qualification for the 31st Summer Olympic Games to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016.

BVIOC hosts Olympic Day – A community celebration at the HLSCC

PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- The BVI Olympic Committee Executive will be celebrating Olympic Day on June 23, 2012 with a symbolic run and a morning of activities at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. The two-mile run or walk with a one-mile option, celebrates Olympism and starts at 7.00am. Registration is at 6.30am.
