Pull back Wilson's contract & construct new school– Hon Fahie
CARROT BAY, Torotla, VI - First District Representative Honourable Andrew A. Fahie received a loud round of applause yesterday May 9, 2013 when he challenged Minister for Education and Culture Honourable Myron V. Walwyn to get some contracts pulled back to facilitate the funding of the construction of a new building to house the Isabella Morris Primary School in Carrot Bay.
Over 36 students, several teachers reportedly treated for mould infections
CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – It was a morning of high emotion, tears and tension at the Isabella Morris Primary School in Carrot Bay when the Minister for Education and Culture Hon. Myron V. Walwyn called an emergency meeting with teachers, parents and the school’s administration with the intention of agreeing on temporarily relocating students and teachers affected by mould, which is being blamed for a wave of health complications at the school.
Mould outbreak forces closure of Isabella Morris Primary
CARROT BAY, Tortola, VI – The Isabella Morris Primary School has been officially closed today, April 23, 2013 due to mould infestation which has been recurring for several months now according to Principal, Sylvia Adams.
