VI to have trial period of flashing traffic lights
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Flashing traffic lights will be observed in Road Town for a trial period of one month to evaluate any potential security risks to motorists at night while waiting at the traffic lights.

Another infrastructure failure?

Washrooms at The Baths closed off due to water shortage
THE BATHS, Virgin Gorda, VI – Residents of the sister island of Virgin Gorda called our newsroom today March 3, 2016 to bitterly complain about the lack of water at the washroom facility at the The Baths and slammed Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Mark H. Vanterpool (R4), accusing him of not being prepared for the influx of passengers to that island.
Effluent from Burt Point sewage treatment plant alarms residents
BURT POINT, Tortola, VI – The newly commissioned sewage treatment plant located at Burt Point on the main island of Tortola caused major concern today January 30, 2016 when persons observed effluent coming from it and running into the sea.

EE resident at wits end over dust pollution
FAT HOGS BAY, East End, VI- A resident of Fat Hogs Bay has been voicing his disgust at the state of the Blackburn Highway in the East End area as he said the dust from the dug up roads has been affecting residents severely.
Anthony S. McMaster confirmed as Communications & Works PS
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Ministry of Communications and Works has a confirmed Permanent Secretary (PS) in the person of Anthony S. McMaster. He officially replaced Julian Willock who was the last confirmed Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works.

Word just reaching this news site from its team of reporters is that the former Finance and Planning Officer for the Ministry of Health and Social Development, reported to the MC&W today October 24, 2012.
