Esprit joins Clarke & Smith as SCBBC U10 MVPs!
The West had romped into an 8-0 first quarter lead and didn’t allow their opponents onto the score board until half way through the second quarter, but then Esprit and Rafael Singh took over the game.
At half time the deficit had been reduced to just 6 points and by the end of the third the game was tied at 12-12.
With just over 2 minutes left on the clock the East then took the lead for the first time and despite some nervous moments they held onto the lead to record the victory.
Esprit finished with 8 points, 4 rebounds and 6 steals, whilst Singh contributed 6 points, 3 rebounds and 5 steals. The top scorers for the West were Malaki Smith with 7 points, 2 rebounds and 5 steals, along with Enrique Jafarally who finished with 7 points, 1 rebound and 3 steals.
