ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – With the Easter season on the heels and school being out for that celebratory time, Write To Read will be hosting the third annual ‘Eggs-perts Easter Camp’; a programme that is primarily geared at focusing on developing Eggs-pert Readers, Eggs-pert Writers and Eggs-pert Thinkers. Also because it would not be a BREAK without some eggs-tra fun, children will enjoy Science Eggs-periments, Eggs-press Yourself Art and Eggs-citing Field Trip.

The camp will run from April 3 to 13, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and targets children ages 5-16 years of age. This two week eggs-pert eggs-perience will take place at the Write to Read school located on the 3rd floor of the E.A Creque Building at the intersection of Flemming and Main Street in Road Town.

Sharie B. de Castro explained the need for the programme by saying, “At Write To Read, children learn strategies to overcome work decoding and phonics problems that affect their reading and comprehension. The Eggs-perts Easter Camp is a perfect opportunity for your child to receive all day, direct reading intervention in a fun, hands-on learning environment. The Easter time is an ideal time to receive this remediation because children are transitioning into the final term of the school year.”

Limited space

Ms de Castro stated that with limited spaces left, persons should rush to sign their children up for ‘Eggs-perts’ Easter Camp at their earliest. She further shared her "eggs-citement" for the upcoming camp by stating that she believes it is “eggs-actly” what a significant number of students in our territory currently need.

“Parents, give your child a chance to become the Eggs-pert they were created to be. Give them the opportunity to receive a holistic educational eggs-perience that is guaranteed to help hatch the greatness that is within them. It’s time for our children to break out of their shells and achieve their full potential,” said Ms de Castro.

For more information and registration persons can email writetoreadbvi@gmail.com or call 442-7335. “Get crackin'! Spaces are limited!”

Miss de Castro is my teacher and because of her I have come a long way. She believes in me. I don't get why you, as an adult would write negative things to try to attack her character. Teacher I don't know if you will read this but don't mind the haters. Thanks for making a difference in my life.

Just noticed the article and signed up my son today as he is struggling a bit....the price was a lil steep but considering its an all day educational camp i really shouldnt complain. He is struggling and i dont know if its a clash between how i try to explain things at home versus his teachers but i welcome the extra help at this time.
